About the Owners
Margot and Angelo
We started our journey in Corpus Christi Tx. My husband and I opened our first restaurant in Corpus (Moody's taquitos) in 1994 since then we have opened 11 successful restaurants. We moved to San Antonio in 2001 and we love it here! We are the original owners of several local restaurants including Tacos n Salsa on Jones Maltsberger.

We have 7 beautiful children and we thank God for them. This is part of the reason why we choose not to open at later hours . God, and family first. We are so grateful to God for allowing us to have this business. We love serving people and putting all our attention in serving a great product. Most of all we have fun ! It's hard work but getting to know people from all walks of life is so cool. We have big dreams for our little restaurant and we know through Gods help we will achieve our goals. In the meanwhile we will continue to work hard to put smiles on faces with our service and food. Thank you for all your support!

Very nice restaurant. It’s small but it feels very friendly. They call your name for your order which makes it feel more comfortable. The food is very good. Everything I have gotten has been great. The sweet tea is also very good. It’s not pricey nor is it dirt cheap. It’s the right amount and quality of food for the price. I would 100% recommend to anyone.

Went here on Wednesday for lunch. It was an early lunch, got here around 1045, no line - perfect.
The menu is pretty extensive, and there are a lot of options to choose from, making it really difficult to decide. The cool part is that they have so much variety you'll want to come back several times to try out the menu.

The tacos are excellent, the salsa is fresh, the staff is super friendly. I love the "pirata" (Bean and cheese with beef fajita). They do good barbacoa and "trash can" tacos too.
